This guide explains how to update a domain registered with Porkbun so it uses HashTech DNS.

Before You Start
- Make sure your domain is registered with Porkbun.
- Confirm your required DNS records are already created in HashTech DNS.
- Changing nameservers changes where DNS is managed for the domain.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to your Porkbun account.
- Go to Domain Management.
- Find the domain name and click Details.
- Locate the Nameservers field and click the edit icon.
- Remove existing nameservers.
- Add ns10.hashdns.net and ns20.hashdns.net, one per line.
- Click Save Nameservers, then confirm if prompted.
Important Notes
- Porkbun says authoritative nameserver changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate worldwide.
- Porkbun DNS records will no longer control the domain after the nameserver change.
- Check email DNS records first to avoid mail interruption.
